About The Retreat
It can be hard to feel grounded and centered in these times. We long for spiritual nourishment, but feel overwhelmed with how to create it for ourselves. Allow this team of BIWOC spiritual directors and mystics create a nourishing space for you. There will be embodied, creative, and liberative spiritual practices. And a chance to be in community with other BIWOC, Queer WOC, trans and non-binary folks who are also seeking liberation and renewal.
During our weekend together, we will explore collective care, healing, and liberation through facilitated dialogues, embodied practices, and group work.
Track 1 is for current students of Liberated Together Spiritual Direction School.
Track 2 is for alumni of the program and other Spiritual Director and Spiritual Care Practitioners.
Track 3 is for anyone looking for a nurturing space to explore and be curious about liberative spiritual practices.
Details
The cost of the retreat is $990 and covers a private room and all meals. Bathroom are shared with others on the same floor.
Check In begins at 2:00 PM Thursday May 15th, 2025 and Orientation is at 4:30 PM. Retreat will end at 11:00 AM on Sunday May 18th, 2025

There is free parking available at the retreat center.

Cost of Single Room and Meals (starting with Thursday Dinner and ending with Lunch on Sunday) - $600

Scholarships
We can offer some scholarships. However, we do not have flexibility in terms of facility cost.
So scholarships can cover some portion of the retreat facilitation cost.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to be as flexible as possible. Please review our cancellation policy:
Full Refund (30+ days prior to the retreat):
If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before the start of the retreat, you will receive a full refund minus a non-refundable processing fee of $100.
Partial Refund (14-29 days prior to the retreat):
Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days before the start of the retreat will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund (Less than 14 days prior to the retreat):
Cancellations made within 14 days of the retreat will not receive a refund.
No Show:
If you fail to show up for the retreat without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
Retreat Postponement/Cancellation by Organizer:
If the retreat is canceled or postponed by the organizer for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to the rescheduled dates.
About Liberated Together:
Liberated Together creates community for Women of Color, Queer WOC, non-binary and trans folks who have been shaped by Christianity to explore liberated and embodied theology, decolonized approaches to social justice, and radical solidarities across ethnic lines. We offer transformative cohorts, in-person retreats, spiritual direction training, and a an online community. Healing together, so we can co-create a way forward.
Liberated Together School of Spiritual Direction trains and empowers WoC/QWoC and non-binary folks to facilitate one-on-one and group spiritual accompaniment through a 9-month training program. Liberated Together gatherings are open to all women of color and non-binary folks of color who are comfortable in a space that centers the lived experience of women of color.
Liberated Together Community fully embraces the queering of all things. We love and honor queerness in all its expressions. If you are attending this retreat we ask you to commit to co-creating a community of warmth and embrace for each other and all queer kin.
